Back to Babies...

The twins that is. Oh my gosh I can barely express how excited I was to go spend some time with Lindsey, Ashton, and Shane. I got in Thursday night so Friday morning I was up around 7 (knowing they wake up at 8)  just w a i t i n g for them to make a peep so I could rush in and hug and love them!

I had SUCH a great time with them and Matt was beyond jealous. calling me every day to know what we were doing and listen to the girl's new vocabulary! They are so funny and so so smart! I was blown away at all they do and say now.  Here's my week in pictures.

We went for drives in the cool green cars and honked and waved at all our neighbors.

We went for a swim at Grandma White's pool and practiced kicks and bubbles!

Stacie came too and helped us jog around the yard. The pic below on the left cracks me up, Ashton has perfect marathon runner form. Just like her mom Truly!

Learning how to throw rocks in the pond with Dad!

Looking for more rocks to throw!

We visited Gma and Gpa Stauffer and Grandpa taught us how to dig up the sand and put it in the bucket.

Wheelbarrow rides with Dad :)

BIG discovery! A colony of ants! I think you can tell Ashton was very excited haha

Family time at Gma & Gpa's house

My sisters were so sweet to come and help out whenever they were free. I thought I had a couple pics of Meg with the girls, but she's in the videos:) Thanks ladies.

After Truly got back I was able to spend a couple days with my Dad and my sisters. With Chloe heading to BYU in the Fall we had to take a mini-tour.

Which basically ended up with my Dad walking us through the locations of the first day he saw my Mom. It was very, very cute:) 28 years of Marriage at the end of July!

Also, we got to see our lovely *adopted* Uncle and Aunt-- Kurt and Charisse and cousins Maddie and Mia (who hid from the camera). It had been 7 years since we had seen them and we always have such a good time together. I hope it's not as long before we see you again!

GREAT trip! As if you couldn't tell. A big, big thanks to Shane and Truly for flying me out to watch the girls. I love spending time with them, and while I won't pretend that it's easy, it's always worth it and means so much to me to be a part of their lives.

Now, if I can somehow upload these videos to youtube and post them...

Oh Toni, I loved your post. I agree that watching the girls isn't easy, but it's definitely fun and worth it. They're so cute and smart. It looks like they had a great time! You're so good with them and they love you so much, and that's what I love about you! Oh, and your Dad is extra cute for showing you where he first saw your mom!

It just did it again. I commented and it wouldn't take it, or maybe I'm just retarded. I loved your blog entry about the girls.

Nancy you are too funny! My blog doesn't publish comments til I see them so that's probably why it is such a struggle--but I LOVE reading your comments--even if they publish three times! I miss seeing you and your hubby every few months at Truly's house! Hope you guys are doing great!
