Work has been great. I am finishing up this week and have learned quite a bit. But now I'm excited for August in what should be (no exaggeration) the best month of my life. First, Toni's family is coming into town to celebrate Grandpa Stauffer's 80th birthday. Whoooo whoooo.. I mean woooo wooo. Then, we head to Toppenish for the 2nd week of August. While in Washington, we will be heading to Oregon :). We're going to the beach, then we're coming back to Seattle (I've always wanted to go there) to watch a Mariners (booo!) Yankees (Booo and Hiss!!!) game. I'll be wearing my red Red Sox shirt with Papelbon on the back. From Seattle we fly out to Boston. Beantown baby, I'm back! Laaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeee!
We get into Boston on the 15th (a Saturday) then celebrate our 2-year anniversary on the 16th. I am going to ask Toni specifically what she wants because my suprises suck. "They're terrible!" as Bill Walton would say. We'll then spend a fun-filled week in NH, maybe with some jet skis on Lake Winepa-I-give-up. Can't spell it. We fly out the 22nd straight to LA. Take me to LA I want to go some day! I've never been. We're flying out for my buddies wedding. Antioni Watson Parker. If I were a girl I'd give some amazing tribute of Antioni with pictures and stuff. But I'm not a girl, so I'll just say he's awesome. He's the best. And his fiance is smokin hot. :) We get in on the 21st of August, the wedding is the 22nd, and we leave the 23rd. Quick weekend, but it should be sickness. Then we get back to Provo to get ready for school, but after the first week of school, I'm going to Arlington Texas to watch BYU DESTROY Oklahoma. Except the exact opposite. The Cougars are going to get destroyed, but I will be at the new Dallas Cowboy stadium taking it all in. I'm staying with Ryan Lucero, and Mike Rose is coming out too. I'll see RAMM!
This is the end of my post. Everyone wish me a happy August!

Thank you Brandon Boyd...
for an absolutely AMAZING concert last night. Few people have voices that sound that perfect in real life. Youtube Incubus live or something if you don't know what I'm talking about.
Incubus is one of my favorite bands and Matt and I had a blast screaming with thousands of blazed and inebriated fans.

So, so talented. I had never been to USANA amphitheater for a concert before and was quite pleased. There is something so exciting and powerful about being in a crowd full of people united in their appreciation for good music. I felt the same at Damien Rice (which is why we went twice), Juanes, and a couple others. I love a wide variety of music and have been to many concerts and the best ones leave you feeling connected and vibrant. It was a fabulous night.

My Favorite Holiday
I've said it before, the fourth of July is my favorite holiday (then Halloween:) ). The hot weather, bbqs, parades, family, swimming, and fireworks! I especially love it when my family is in town for the week because it extends the festivities. This year, CJ and Gavin went to BYU Basketball camp and had a great time.

I convinced my family to get up early to see the Hot Air Balloon Festival and I was amazed that we all made it! When I hosted the Provo Parade I had to do a story on the festival and until then I had no idea it even existed. They all loved the balloons but I think they loved the french toast at Kneaders a little more...

We spent the 4th in Murray with my grandparents and of course had to attend the parade. A
big thanks to Aunt Shelley for providing Dad and Alex with the classiest 4th of July t-shirts
That night we found good spots to park and watch the local fireworks show.

Once we got back home we decided to have our own display. As CJ and I walked past the mirror on G&G's wall, I made a shocking discovery. CJ has finally passed me. Holy crap, he's 14. Regardless, I am very proud!
Pretty ladies
Insert conversation about baseball, basketball, or my dad's shirt here.
Grandpa and the next door neighbors, The Difrancesco's!

The pyromaniacs for the evening
What can I say, the man loves his Crunch'n'Munch haha. How could I not use this picture!?
Sunday evening we had dessert over at our relatives house, Jerry & Cheryl. They are the most entertaining hosts I know! And everyone wants to be invited to Cheryl's because the food is always so delicious. This time we had a banana split bar, so fun and so good.

I love this picture because this is so classic of my grandparents. Grandma giving grandpa "the eye" for something funny he said. Thanks especially to you two for such a fun 4th of July week!! Their house is always home base and it is so fun when we can all get together and just play.
Hope everyone is having a great summer!
