Intramural Basketball
The time has finally come for the insanity that is Intramural Basketball. This year my Dad-- aka Big Dawg Stauffer-- sponsored the team and outfitted them with Toppenish Wildcat t-shirts and about 100 rally towels for their huge fan following :)
They won their first game last week by about 20 pts. Here are the official team pictures. Individual player trading cards soon to follow.

Grandpa Dave's
We spent our holiday weekend at Grandpa Dave's aka Heaven on earth. This time we were lucky to be able to take a bunch of friends/family with us.

Matt and his buddies raided Grandpa Dave's closet and found these gems which Grandpa Dave willing handed over to them. Pretty classy plaid/flannel if you ask me. Thanks to Grandpa Dave for another AMAZING weekend out on "Almosta Ranch". We had a blast :)

Today I've been reflecting on how lucky I am to have 2 of my sisters in Provo. Being the first to leave home, it has been nice to be slowly reunited--one by one--with my siblings. Not that fun for my parents I'm sure, but fun for the 3 of us:)
c'mon meg, pull yourself together

Saturday night we had a little game night so that we could get together with Ryan before he took off for D.C. Matt is really gonna miss his buddy over these next few months.

And We're Back
The holidays are over, it's been snowing for 24 hours straight, and I can't believe it's back to the ol' routine already. Going home to Washington was great, it's just fun to be around the family and it was fun to have Christmas for the first time in my parent's new house! Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer were able to join us, as was Aunt Shelley and we were SO glad to have them with us! The break consisted of a LOT of food, movies, playing a LOT of basketball, and just enjoying time doing nothing.
Not the most artistic family picture but I wanted to get everyone together. So this was the best that the automatic timer could do!

Every Christmas eve we spend at our Aunt Lucy's house and there is always a crowd of about 40-50. Great food and friends and a lot of side-aches from laughing way too hard:)

Christmas morning (homemade pj's). My parents always made us wait on the stairs growing up in our old house. Some things never change... (Stacie and CJ win best 'morning face' award)

My mom has hand-made all of our Christmas stockings which is a tradition I definitely want to continue with my family. As kids we were always so proud of the individual details and unique designs . Just knowing she spent time making it just thinking of us makes it special.

Matt found a stocking for him hanging on the fireplace this year which basically means he has been officially accepted and is now locked in to the Stauffer family permanently:) He loves it! Could the sports theme be more perfect for that kid?!

New Years eve we always have everyone over to our house for round 2 of the Holiday parties. Reynolds boys:)

AND for the 3rd year in a row we welcomed Matt's buddy Sam! Last year Lauren came with him as his girlfriend and this year as his wife! When Matt and I were first dating I found out Sam's relatives were just a half hour away and he'd be with them for New Years so I invited Sam and his sister to come to my family's party. Little did I know Matt told Sam to "scope out" my family since Sam met them before Matt did:) We are so glad you guys came!!
I want to give one more shout out to my cousin Shane and his beautiful wife Truly who, over the break, gave birth to the most amazing set of twins! We, along with so many others, have been anxiously awaiting their arrival. We are so glad they have joined us on earth happy and healthy with the best parents two little girls could ask for. We love you!(Truly I hope you don't mind I stole this pic!!)
